DESCRIPTION:The IAEA has eight nuclear applications laboratories in Seibersdorf\, located 35 km south of Vienna. For over 60 years\, the laboratories have provided Member States with applied research into human health\, food security\, and environmental protection. The IAEA laboratories are a unique feature in the United Nations. \nThe staff at Seibersdorf have very kindly agreed to spare some time for members of UN-NYG for a tour of some of the labs.
