Why become a UN-NYG Member?
The UN-NYG is open to all people under 38 years of age who are committed to promote the Mission and Objectives of the UN-NYG and are working, or simply interested, in the field of nuclear technology. The UN-NYG will be of greatest interest to current and former employees of UN organizations based in the Vienna International Centre. Access to the Vienna International Centre is necessary to attend most UN-NYG events, but not a requirement of membership.
Annual Membership Fee
To support its annual program of events for young professionals, the UN-NYG collects an annual membership fee from members who are paid employees, but not from interns.
Many events, including most social events, are open to all attendees regardless of membership status.
However, certain professional development events will be open to members only (talks, visits, networking events with other organizations, mentoring events, etc.). These are specifically identified as members-only events in the UN-NYG newsletter. Eligible non-intern staff who are not currently members can gain access to these events by paying the membership fee at any time
Non-intern Members: €10 per year
Intern Members: Free
Fees will be collected during the whole year.
