The third annual Core Committee Meeting of the European Nuclear Society – Young Generation Network (ENS-YGN) took place on 16 September at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia. President Owen LeGrone and Programme Manager Gleb Lebedev ably represented the UN-NYG. We were able to report on much new activity since the last ENS-YGN meeting in May, including the election of new officers, our Seibersdorf trip, and the resurrection of Bite Size Nuclear, as well as upcoming events.
Our delegation came away impressed by the diversity of the European nuclear community and committed to improve relationships with other members, especially the nearby Austrian and Hungarian nuclear Young Generation Networks. We hope to announce new forms of collaboration with these organizations soon!
