On July 27, UN-NYG members hiked to the Kahlenberg mountain overlooking Vienna to enjoy the Mayer am Nussberg Heuriger, or wine tavern. Vienna is famous for being one of the few cities in Europe with vineyards still within the city limits. For some of our new members, this was a first opportunity to partake in the time-honored Viennese Heuriger tradition, while others knew what to expect, but a great time was had by all.
