UN-NYG was active and involved during the IAEA General Conference (GC67) at the VIC this year. From 25 to 29 September, we staffed a booth to explain the purpose of our organization and solicit new members, over a dozen of whom signed up. A special thanks is due those members who volunteered to spend time at the booth.
We also attended an event on nuclear safety and security hosted by the DDG-MT on Tuesday, joined a breakfast networking event hosted by the International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC) on Wednesday, and held an informal happy hour on Friday. We’re looking forward to even more involvement with next year’s GC!
